melt into yourself
In this workshop, participants are encouraged to connect to their own voice through the lens of my movement language. We will move through improvisational tasks and guided explorations that introduce the core ideas behind my choreographic practice. We will learn phrase material from my repertoire and use it as a foundation to explore movement with detail and specificity. Groove, central to my ongoing movement research, will be used as a tool for deeper embodiment, sharpening awareness, and shared experience.
the description reflects an artist’s idea which was developed at the time it was submitted to b12. it may have changed by the time the workshop or the performance project is starting. please stay flexible. thank you!
