what speaks through the body is a confession of everything that your mouth has refused to form into words. in this four-day workshop, we aim to find out what it is that drives us and discover if and how we can transform the narratives we construct through movement, language and performance. we move between freedom and restriction, willingness and rebellion. we choose to switch between instinct and information. we drift, we flow, we cut between physical qualities and psychological states that co-exist: belonging to each other yet simultaneously striving to maintain their identity. we bring structure to improvisation and invite freedom to invade what is set. we dissociate, we black out, we remain present.

the description reflects an artist’s idea which was developed at the time it was submitted to b12. it may have changed by the time the workshop or the performance project is starting. please stay flexible. thank you!
