luigi sardone
felix Landerer movement language/creation tools
in this workshop, participants will be investigating the movement language, choreography and compositional approach of felix landerer. it is a physical language which emphasises specificity of initiation points, the use of the spine as a synthesiser of action, the value of a useful relationship with the floor and a playful search for the details and dynamics that give movement its communicative potential. the workshop will be led by luigi sardone, felix landerer’s collaborator. luigi, who initiated working with felix landerer in 2014 within the frame of scapino ballet rotterdam, has since then been a long-time landerer&company performer. moreover, throughout the last years, luigi has been leading workshops focused on the work of felix landerer around europe and beyond.
the description reflects an artist’s idea which was developed at the time it was submitted to b12. it may have changed by the time the workshop or the performance project is starting. please stay flexible. thank you!
