Yasmin iriel Frione
360° movement
360° movement is based on the concept of a three-dimensional body, developing versatility and creative potential. the workshop investigates contemporary dance, deep floorwork and physical theatre approaches to build a broad foundation for mapping the body’s territory. acrobatic elements are used to inhabit space, expanding movement towards the 360°. the practice combines a physical and technical approach while exploring exercises designed to unlock creative potential through improvisation, individual work and partner-based explorations. 360° movement goes beyond anatomy, integrating physicality with creative energy. a map of weight, tone, extension and rhythm forms the basis for exploration. participants learn to work intelligently, optimising their energy and challenging their automatic habits to increase presence. the process is approached both individually and with others, fostering a space to explore and share ideas while refining decision-making in the integration of improvisation and stage creation. the workshop guides participants into different states, releasing blocks and progressively building strength, clarity and power, creating a tunnel into the performance state.
the description reflects an artist’s idea which was developed at the time it was submitted to b12. it may have changed by the time the workshop or the performance project is starting. please stay flexible. thank you!

company info
System Company
system, founded in 2020 by yasmin iriel frione, is a company that investigates new forms of movement, performance and the relationship between body and stage. initially based in buenos aires, the company has presented its works in festivals and theatres across the city, various provinces in argentina and neighbouring countries. it has been a resident company in different cultural associations, consolidating a strong artistic trajectory supported by state grants (prodanza, fondo nacional de las artes, int) and performing in venues such as cck, tecnópolis and other amphitheatres. among its most notable works is the trilogy sistemas de fuga, which has toured multiple times, as well as the solos intro visión and retro visión. currently, system is based in europe, with its new production ecce femme scheduled for a 2026 tour. it develops a scenic research practice that fuses contemporary dance, acrobatics, partner work, physical theatre and other performative elements. the conceptual thread connecting all its works is the deterritorialization of the body: escaping pre-established social and cultural patterns to discover new ways of reterritorialization. the pieces play with the delicate line between what happens on and off stage, crafting engaging experiences and enhancing the connection between performers and audience.
