MOZ mobilizes the idea of choreography, proposing transmedia practices in the field of dance and performing arts. With an emphasis on the interconnection of the human body and XR technologies (Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems), it focuses on augmenting thinking through sensory-motor collective experiences. Transforming physical and digital spaces into fields of experimentation, it recreates artistic codes, not only thematizing social dilemmas of our contemporary societies, but also enhancing ''digital literacy''.
With Transmedia Storytelling as its main axis, MOZ brings different art forms and scientific disciplines into a dialogue, reflecting the ever-changing environment. It focuses on the creation of artistic works, alongside educational activities, that promote the development of transmedia thinking and create social awareness, combining art with technology, nature and life. Active in areas such as dance, cinema, XR technologies, theatre, videodance, installations, gaming and underwater filming, MOZ merges separate fields of activity, developing innovative, artistic practices.
MOZ creates apparatuses that make people meet, move, envision and challenge themselves, sharing collective sensory experiences. It is embraced by different national and international collaborations and blossoms in various ways under Chrysanthi's Badeka direction.
chrysanthi badeka pursued her mfa at tisch school of the arts in nyu (new york) after completing her ba in dance (athens), focusing on choreography for the camera. since then, she has been working as a freelance choreographer, cinematographer, editor, videodance trainer and curator. for 10 consecutive years, she dedicated herself to the promotion of the videodance art form, co-directing avdp - international dance film festival in athens / gr (2010–2020). she is now working as the b12 media supervisor and is running moz productions. as a maker, propelling dance and composition, her transmedia practice merges movement with xr technology, nature and science, working through different media and presenting her works on or off the theatrical stage, on cinematic screens, monitors or synthetic environments (vr/ar/mr/ai). as an interdisciplinary artist, she is supported by the greek ministry of culture and athens digital art festival, alongside multiple institutions. she has been a jury member and/or curator for dance film festivals such as dan.cin.fest (fr), la danza in 1 minuto (it), ibdf festival (ro), l'alternativa (sp), off europa (ger), loikka (fin) and tanzrauschen festival (ger). in 2020, she received the audience award from polish dance theatre's competition 1 page - 1 view - 180 seconds 2020 for the short videodance women, while in 2022 she received the best cinematography award from inshadow dance film festival for the videodance battle of fishes.

Transmedia dance performance TERRAS is an audiovisual narrative of kinetic episodes, exploring the effects of sound, visuals, light, space and movement on human perception and emotion. Chrysanthi Badeka focuses on the interconnections of destruction and regeneration, contrasting the disruptive plasticity of the human body with natural phenomena and other organisms. Studying the algorithm as movement and combining choreography with programming and Virtual Reality, the interdisciplinary choreographer explores how computational systems can be integrated into contemporary dance, inviting the audience into a shared sensory experience.
By integrating digital media and various techniques (VR, algorithmic visualisations, 3D projection mapping), TERRAS fragmentises and paralyzes the human body and space, while other times it unifies physical, spatial and temporal meanings. The focus is oriented towards the subjective and internal stimulation of the viewer, rather than an objective and conscious response based on logical thinking. All elements activate the stage space, highlighting various aspects of the constructed landscape and scenes that emerge from within the body. In a dynamic interaction, spatial light and sound formations emerge and dissolve through the body and the visuality of the space. Light is transformed as an almost tangible material into an archetypal sculpture that, despite its abstract nature, allows for very personal associations. Matter acquires organicity through movement, the body becomes both transmitter and receiver, sound animates events and light interconnects the immaterial with matter, from the stardust of a supernova to the immortal jellyfish Turritopsis Dohrnii. The visualisation of natural phenomena strengthens the viewer's connection with the wider scale of the universe, creating a communication between man and the universal space. The resulting forms of medial expression, combined with corporeality, visual experience and synesthetic sound, suggest a unique new dimension in choreography.
Within a black confined space the heroine finds herself in multiple Virtual Reality worlds. When the virtual is mixed with reality, she faces a fight, which makes the boundaries of her mind lost in mysterious spaces of the universe.
A paradoxical internal drama that flows and changes, with the composition of choreography, digital media, music, light and a modular costume, depicting the changing atmosphere and mood of the work. Choreographed episodes with different spatialities, create a multi-sensory environment for the body-mind, sometimes threatening and sometimes welcoming, a story of multiple folds and contrasts, which gradually de-identify the heroine.
